The ‘Tutored Plus’ course consists of six stages of study: three Tutored Weekends PLUS three manageable periods of Home Study. This format has been specially designed to enable you to experience the very best that the Style Coaching Institute™ has to offer!

Tutored Plus course offers the opportunity to meet and get to know other like-minded individuals and have face-to-face interaction with the Institute’s facilitators. The tutored course is enormous fun and many students make close, lifelong friends amongst one another. You can experience the wonderful benefits of ‘live’ interaction and visual learning aids to help you to become the best Style Coach™ you can be! We have included on the tutored weekends the key lessons which we feel are beneficial to experience in person. This way, you will never miss out on the main benefits of tutored learning – the ability to interact with others and gain visual insights when they would be helpful.
The home study stages of a ‘Tutored Plus’ course incorporate time for you to integrate all your new knowledge and allow time for studying the areas of Style Coaching™ which are better absorbed in the comfort of your own home. Time is also allowed for completing light-hearted assignments which will help you to ‘put into practice’ your new skills! During the Home Study stages you will have an easy-to-manage “study schedule” which will give you options on how to pace your learning in a way that will suit you and your lifestyle commitments. With specially designed schedules to choose from you will be able to stay on track with ease and enjoyment and look forward to the next tutored stage where you can share experiences with your fellow students.
By combining the ‘best of both’ we have been able to ensure that your time is used efficiently and your money is not wasted on unnecessary travel and accommodation expenses. We have also been able to further ensure the highest training standards possible by giving each area of Style Coaching™ the time it needs to be fully absorbed and integrated. Upon your successful graduation you can rest assured that you have been trained to provide the very best possible service to your clients and have every reason to feel both competent and confident in your new career!
The Tutored Plus course has been designed and is presented with individual learning styles in mind, and activates the prominent senses. There are visual demonstrations both through PowerPoint presentations and with the aid of visual props, and our trainers are engaging and entertaining to listen to. We encourage students to be “hands-on” with enlightening exercises and when beneficial, we incorporate the option of light-hearted role play!
After each stage of live tutoring, students are required to complete assignments based on their learning so far. We aim to make all assignments as enjoyable and as experiential as possible, and hope to encourage optimum learning through the active participation of students both in class and through their assignments. As an Institute we do not believe in “grading” assignments and we certainly do not believe in “failure”. What other Institute’s may label as failure, we see as an opportunity for the student to learn valuable lessons and to grow in confidence and of course competence! We provide every student with individual, helpful, and encouraging feedback to ensure that they receive the very best training possible and reach their full potential.
In order to receive a Diploma in Style Coaching™ and in order to be issued with a license to practice as a Style Coach™, all students are required to demonstrate adequately their understanding of key principles of Style Coaching both in theory and in practice. This final assessment is based upon all assignments, but particularly, the final assignment in which students are requested to “Style Coach” a pro-bono client.
Uncommonly, the Style Coaching Institute™ devotes a section of the course to helping students in setting up their Style Coaching™ business. We look at how to begin practising as a professional Style Coach™ step by step; looking at advertising the services of a Style Coach™ and marketing strategies, also, how to network with others and promote Style Coaching™ effectively. On satisfactory completion of the course students are awarded a diploma in Professional Style Coaching™ and a license to use the Graduates’ Mark of the Institute to demonstrate that the “Style Coach®” is a Certified Graduate of the Style Coaching Institute®. Graduates are also eligible to apply for membership of the International Association of Style Coaches™ (MIASC).
