Style Coaching™ in a Nutshell

The Style Coaching™ experience incorporates the vital skills of a personal stylist within the process of personal coaching; through this unique approach, Style Coaching™ has offered the area of Image Consultancy a makeover all of its own, bringing it bang up-to-date in a way that has never been done before!

Style Coaching™ is the latest and most up to date approach to Image Consultancy for the new millennium and more, because it acknowledges that people are more than their external image alone. We all have the image we see in the mirror but just as importantly if not more so, we have another image of ourselves, the one that we see in our minds eye! The Style Coaching™ approach works equally on both of these images. The relationship between these two images and how it affects our feelings and behaviour has been our focus in developing Style Coaching™. The Style Coaching™ process is truly a powerful experience.

The Style Coaching Institute™ has international registered trademarks. When a student graduates from the institute she / he is granted a licence to use the official Graduates’ Mark of the institute, proving that she / he is an officially trained graduate of the only Style Coaching Institute™ in the world.

The Style Coaching Institute™ was founded in the beginning of 2005 since then the institute has trained over 600 students worldwide. In 2006 the International Association of Style Coaches™ was formed. A graduate of the Style Coaching Institute™ can (if they wish) join the IASC and represent themselves as a member of the association by using MIASC after their name and using the association’s logo along with the institute’s Graduate Mark on their promotional material.

The institute runs tutored courses throughout the year in the USA, Singapore, Ireland and the United Kingdom, in Singapore the courses are hosted at Urban Beauty Academy, in the UK and Ireland they are hosted at venues close to international airports. When a Tutored Course is not the most convenient study method for a student, the Institute also offers the option of a Home Study version of the course. The Tutored Plus Course consists of six stages of study (three tutored weekends plus three home study stages) which are designed to be interactive and fun for the students whilst learning everything that is needed to become a Style Coach™.

Every student of Style Coaching™ receives an extensive training manual and is set various assignments including a diploma assignment when all study has been completed. Feedback is given on each assignment and the institute uses a referral system of continuous assessment to ensure that every student reaches the highest standard possible and realises their goal of becoming a competent and confident Style Coach™.

The home study course consists of approximately 200 hours of study with 6 assignments in total. Each student is assigned a Personal Tutor who gives continuous unique feedback to the student throughout the course of their studies. There are no specific enrolment dates for the home study course so study can begin without delay after the simple steps of enrolment are complete. Students are free to study at their own pace without any time constraints.
